We finally have our semi and we used it to go over to Thunderbird on Aug 21 - 27. We were quite the crew with the 4 horse going, the semi, and 2 - 5th wheels. Everyone did really well. Breanna ended up with a 1st and 2nd in the jumpers and some good placings in the hunters. Megan had some top placings in the small ponies as well.
Morganne has qualified for the CET mini medal finals and placed 3rd in the Thunderbird good hands and seat. Sabrina had a great show on Commander too!!.
It was weird for me to be a groom for Kyle King and Euro, but it was fun and interested. Euro ended up with needing his teeth done and had lacerations in his mouth and therefore did not have the best showing, but still tried hard and was fun to watch. |
|
Congrats to Beowulf on the purchase of Mocha. She was a great little mare and we still have Willy to remind us of her!! |
|
Ok..so the Brawley show in Oregon was the best fun!!. We camped and had a blast in the heat. The people were friendly and the show was great. We are definitely in for next year. All the horses were excellent. Some highlights were: |
| |
Winners of the Scavenger hunt...Canada rocks!!!
Breanna on Nikia won 2nd in the pony hunter Derby
Sarah on Euro was 8th in the grand prix
Sabrina on Jade won the accumulator
Chelsea on Apollo was 4th in the high jump at 4'11"

Scooby has been sold to a family in Port Townsend, WA. We wish them tons of fun with him!!
Others that have recently sold are:
Justin to Piper Kurland of Bowser
Willy to Lotten of Courtney
Anakin to Mallory of Courtney
and our beloved JJ has gone to Oregon |
|
For those of you who didn't know, we lost Timmy. He was nearly 32 years old and helped start many kids. We are currently setting up a page of pictures of kids that loved, rode, and handled him. He will be always missed! |
